MESSAGE FROM THE GRAND KNIGHT

It’s been a busy past 2 months. Thanks to all who helped in any way for the activities that went on during this time. Euchre Tournament, Valentin’s Dance, Options for Women Quarter Auction, and the Religious Appreciation Banquet were just some of the events that were held during January and February.

Just a reminder that our Lenten Fish Fries will begin March 8. Please consider volunteering to help with these.

Bill LeGrand is President of the Columbus Club.
House committee members are Tom Anderson, John Jansen, and
Steve Seyer.
Bar committee members are Bill LeGrand and Brian Ziegler.
Grounds committee members are Mike Miller and Bill LeGrand.
Kitchen committee members are Tom Anderson and Steve Seyer.
Rental committee members are John Jansen and Floyd Smith.

Members who have been in the Knights for one year and have attained 3^rd Degree membership are eligible to join the 4^th Degree Knights. Become a 4^th Degree Knight.

WHAT’S HAPPENING
Fish and Chicken Fries: The Lenten Fish/Chicken Fries will be held
March 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, 29^th and April 5^th and 12^th.
Serving from 4 PM until 7 PM.
Prices are $11 for adults, $5 for ages 6 thru 11 and free for kids under 6, Carry Outs are $11.
The following parishes have agreed to furnish workers on these dates:
March 8                            St. Joseph, Scott City
March 15                          St. Augustine, Kelso
March 22                          KC Council
March 29                          St. Lawrence, New Hamburg
April 5                              St. Denis, Benton
April 12                            St. Ambrose, Chaffee
All knights are asked/encouraged to help with the fish/chicken fries—you don’t have to wait to be called or wait until your parish’s turn—just show up any Friday during Lent.
We are ONE KC Council. We always need help.

Election of Officers: At our meeting on May 1^st, we will elect officers. Say “yes” when someone asks you if you will serve as an officer in our
Knights of Columbus Council. Volunteer to serve as an officer if you want to be one. Just say “yes”.
