Message From Grand Knight
It’s the middle of October and its 80 degrees outside–wow. Soon the leaves will begin falling, weather will be cooling, the holidays (and holy days) will be here and 2016 will come to an end.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving I’d like to say THANK YOU to those members (and their wives) who are always helping our council at our various functions and activities. Whether it be meetings, bingo, fish fry, horseshoe tournament, religious appreciation banquet, tootsie roll drive, euchre tournament, sausage breakfast, valentine dance or any other function–it takes the effort of EVERY member (not just SOME) to make things happen.
None of us can do everything–but we can all do something.
Thank You for all you do. And thank you for reading this newsletter.
As we celebrate Christmas and the birth of Jesus–Let us remember to Keep Christ in Christmas. And let us remember that as Catholic gentlemen it is our job–no–our privilege to be Christ to others by what we say, what we do and how we act.
Merry CHRISTmas to all of you from my wife (Roxie) and I and from my son Brian, my daughter-in-law Kim and my 3 granddaughters Anne, Addison and Ali
If you are an active member, Thank You— If you are not, Why Not?
Vivat Jesus
