Vincent Uhrhan

Vincent Adam Uhrhan of Scott City, Missouri was born on October 12, 1923 in Fornfelt, Missouri the son of Philip and Katie Caroline Felter Uhrhan and passed away on August 1, 2019 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Delphine and son Norman.

Vincent served in the Army during World War II and was awarded four bronze stars while serving in Normandy, northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe.

He worked for the Cotton Belt and Southern Pacific railroads for over 40 years, serving in East Louis, Ill, Shreveport, La. Houston, TX and Pine Bluff, Ark.

Vincent was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Scott City.

Vincent was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars in which he was active for many years.

Vincent is survived by his sister, Clara Mae Moore, son Philip Uhrhan and wife Kathy, daughter Patricia Evans and husband Len, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
