Happy New Year to All!!
Thanks to the KC members and the Ladies Auxiliary members who helped decorate the KC Hall for Christmas. Looked good, didn’t it?
Happy New Year to all!!– Seems like 2015 just started. Now it’s 2016. I wish you and your family the best in 2016. Along with a new year comes new year’s resolutions, new intentions and new ideas. I hope your resolutions, intentions and ideas include time for Jesus, time for your family and time for the Knights of Columbus.
We have a lot of activities coming up this year. The Valentine Dance, the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest, Fish Fries, Religious Appreciation Banquet, Antique Tractor Parade, Columbus Day Banquet, Religious Educators Appreciation Banquet, Tootsie Roll Drive, Dice Run for Special Olympics, Pancake & Sausage Breakfast, Euchre Tournaments, The Missouri State Knights of Columbus Horseshoe Tournament, Bingos, Hall Rentals and more. All these activities require lots of help from our members. NOBODY CAN DO EVERYTHING, BUT EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING. It takes all of us working together. Don’t be a member in name only. Be an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
That’s Not My Job
This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
